The necessity of adequate lubrication of chains and conveyors is well known to industry for the advantages it involves and are summarized in maximizing the time of use of a chain or conveyor belt.
Lubricate properly  the  chains serves to prevent overheating of gears and seals subjected to strong friction and pressures.
