'OIL IN AIR SENSOR' is an optical sensor that detects the oil inside the air mainly used for MINIMAL lubrication air oil application.
This sensor is equipped with twin sensing head at 90° which provides a superior detection in any orientation than other sensors commercially available.
OIL IN AIR SENSOR is placed directly on the air-oil outlet pipes checking the correct presence of lubricant in the air, therefore provides electronic feedback of correct operation of minimal lubrication systems.
The presence of the expected oil flow rate is indicated by the flashing of the orange LED on the device. The LED switches off in case of blocking the flow. The control reference value is established during the commissioning of the plant, so the user, according to the type of plant, can easily set on his PLC the number of pulses suitable to be detected for the proper lubrication of his plant.
Thanks to the twin sensing head, the sensor ensures a higher measurement quality than other sensors on the market.
APPLICATIONS
The minimal air-oil lubrication with our Vip4Air, Vip4Air Continuous air, combined with the DropsA's Oil in Air Sensor, is the most suitable solution for high-speed spindle lubrication on machine tools.
In this way we have both the control on the correct pump delivery, and the control of the actual lubrication of the final point.
Can be applied to all types of air/oil systems with impulse cycle.
